A lady called from this number, sounds legit. She tried to verified a check i gave to a construction company, which i did. She said my signature didn't match. After verification, she said she will post the check.

I just got a call today, 12/15/16, from a guy named Ismael saying someone was trying to cash a check from my account and that there is fraudulent activity on my BofA account. I knew this was a scam, but just to make certain, I called BofA to verify. They confirmed that my account is fine and there is NO type of fraud on my account... This guy who left me a voicemail is a scam artist! DO NOT give any info to these people!!!! Do not become their victim!

A sweet sounding female voice called saying that someone had tried to cash a convenience check in Los Angeles. She insisted that I give her my credit card number but I did not give it to her.

Do not give them any information. I called the number listed on Bank of America's website and they had no record of this number or the other toll free number I was directed to call (877) 887-8935.

This person called and said my online credit was suspended until I spoke with them. This is a phasing scammer.
