patrolmens foundation, im almost 100% certain its a computer talking to you at the other end, very sophisticated software, ask it who won world war 2.
Caller hung up (leaving no message) after machine picked up call. ID read VETS FOUNDATION and area code returns to Nashville, TN.
Smells like a scam to me.
Reported to FCC
Came up on caller ID as Patrolmens, man on the phone said he was a paid solicitor for National Patoral Mens Foundation. I was lucky that by some chance we got cup off first. . He wanted to send me an envelop and donate a large sum of money. Not going to happen!
call purports to be from Murfreesboro, TN, Patrolmen's Benevolent Fund from Sarasota, FL. Seems to be interactive computer. Don't remember the name used. Asked me to send a small donation when I get their mailer.
I'm retired (have plenty of time) so I usually answer calls from these morons - It wastes their time much more than mine - if it's a real person.
