Called my cell and said it was about my Nicor Gas bill. I didn't understand at first and she repeat it was about Nicor Gass bill. Asked again what it was and she just "gas". Kept playing dumb and the girl just started nervously laughing when I kept saying "I don't know" and told me to have a nice day. Sounded fresh on the scam circuit.

This is NOT Nicor; I called Nicor and they confirmed that this is a company trying to trick people into signing up with a different provider. The caller kept insisting she was calling from Nicor's Customer Select program and needed to verify my info to get me discounts and rebates. I kept pressing and she finally said, "I never said I was from Nicor!" which was flat-out false.

Wanted to speak to the person responsible for Nicor gas bill.
1. They didn't know my name.
2. Heard all the other idiots in the background making calls.
3. Call was from Aurora where scumbags live that cannot get a better job than a dirtbag telemarketer.
Obviously selling Natural Gas, but I hung up before he could utter anymore nonsense than his first few words.

Caller stated he was from Nicor. We had a 10% discount and if we did not take this opportunity we were missing out on something big. Could hear other phone calls in the background making this a call center.

Said they were calling from NICOR about my natural gas bill. When I said I did not have NICOR, and asked where they were calling from, they hung up.

Received call - did not answer - they left no message.

Hung up after 3 rings, can't be anyone I know

Let it go to voice mail but they did not leave pone. From the other comments it sounds like a scam.
