The solicitor on the line always begins with some sort of form of the following, "...we have been following your computer for 2 weeks, now and have found that it is full of viruses..." My husband and I have had so many of these phone calls, that we stop them right there and either hang up on them or yell at them - we are so frustrated. I have notified the local Sheriffs office who told me to call the State Attorney General, who I spoke with sometime during the Fall of 2012. She advised me that this is a known scam and they "law enforcement" is aware of these type of marketing calls. The soliciting caller acts like they are connected to one or both of our 2 computers. The talk like they know what kind of computers we have, and that they can fix the computer. They NEVER identify themselves, they never say who they are working for, and I have been cursed at two times using the "f" word and the "bs" word. I am disgusted and really upset with this situation. Please help.
