I got a call today saying that my son has a $1360.79 debt from 2004 from a check that was NSF. Still don't know if that was a check that was bounced on him or he bounced. They said they could only take a min of 50% today or it was going to court tomorrow. They talked the the wrong person because I am in collections. Don't give these people any money. I asked them to fax me some paperwork so I understand the who, what, where and how, but nothing has shown up. They also gave me the phone number of 866-509-5202 ext 107.

I received the following voicemail, "We would like to congratulate [name removed for privacy]. The pre-legal account that is in our office has been flagged to participate in our balance transfer program. This program will allow you to transfer only 33% of the outstanding balance on this pending pre-legal matter. You would save 67% on this program. You can transfer the balance onto any major credit card available to you. Paying 33% would remove this matter from your credit report and raise your very valuable credit score. To speak with a credit specialist, please call 1-877-822-5296 immediately as funding for this program is limited." I called the 877 number and spoke to an Alan Grant who gave his direct number as (866) 509-3202x317. He explained that this was accumulated overdraft fees of my brother's that would incur additional court fees if not settled by 8pm Easter tonight. I called my mother and discovered that this company has been tracking down family members claiming that my brother must have put our numbers on some form (which he says he did not). This is not my debt - my number was not provided to this company. This is a violation and harassment.

These people call me everyday, Monday thru Friday... They say it is a "Pre-Legal" matter about an old sprint bill that I had back in 2005... The first time I ever talked to them; we got on the topic of payment plans. I didn't give out my credit card information because when I told them that I could only pay $25 a month bc I am the only one in my family working, they refused and told me that the minimum payments were only allowed to be divided into 3 months and that if I didn't do this then they would take me to court. I told them that they were ridiculous and they didn't sound legit and then i hung up on them... That conversation was back in May... I haven't heard from them since until about 3 weeks ago, and they've been calling me ever since... I guess I'm going to have to get nasty again...

these people named sarah levy and a mr stevenson call me trying to collect a us bank card i paid off 2 years ago they tell me they are taking me to court. what a joke these people are they should be beheaded

They've been calling my number twice a day. An automated voice leaves a message for someone I have never heard of, offering to transfer her debt for pre-legal proceedings. The fact that they have ignored my assertion that I have no idea who this "Stephanie White" is, and denied my request to stop contacting me, qualifies it, I think, as spam. Or harassment/

I have received 8 calls from this number in the past week regarding an issue about my 30 year old son. He does not live here now and never has. I have no idea how they got my cell number. I told them I couldn't help them and asked them to remove my number from their call list on the first call.
I have filed a complaint with the FTC regarding their behavior.

This number called me several times about a credit card that i never even signed up for. they want to make a settlement offer or make monthly payments. This card was issued in 1999 and whoever used my information has been paying on it until 2006. Now they want take me to court to settle out and i was never in kaufman county in 1999. contacting lawyers get my name cleared.

they are a scam they said i owed us bank money wich i do but the credit angency who owns my claim said they never sold it to them they are a SCAM i already contactted the better buisness bearu and the attorney generals do not give them money verify who owns you debt before paying them any money

I get multiple calls from these people daily claiming they going to sue me for an old cell phone bill that I supposedly made from 6 years ago in a state that I have never lived in. Initially I was rattled by the calls, and tried to set up payment arrangements with them, but when I asked for them to mail me something about the case they refused and told me they were taking me to court the next morning if I did not pay it over the phone with a credit/debit card, I refused. That was over 6 months ago and I have not been sued yet, though they continue to relentlessly call and harass me and call my family members and harass them about this supposed debt.

these people called my house looking for someone that I have never met or even heard of...
they clamed that my number was listed as a contact...
then they called my cell three times leaving different messages
1st just classical music
2nd a message for the mistery person about a credit action and a number to stop the action 1-888-380-3516
3rd a different person called and left message with a different company name "CSI" and a different return number 1-86-509-3202 but the same account #.
They are just fishing for information.

Just got a call from them initially from a 8884164980 Sarah Levy and John Stevenson are the suppose owners of the "law firm" so they transferred me to 631 247-9920 number and stated that they have an old sprint bill check this out since 2001 and its over $500+, they stated that they were going to take me to court, I said so your coming all the way from NY to TX to sue me over $500 bucks! Then they offered me a settlement letter...talk about stupid! I was in Germany in 2001!!!!

This is a debt collector trying to collect on old, charged off or invalid debts. Had a wonderful conversation with one of their representatives as I am operating under Chapter 13 protection and it is illegal for them to call me. They claim they can't remove me from their auto dial list because "that's how the court will contact you" due to a "pre legal" matter that I should take seriously. They kept giving me the runaround until I told them I will sue them under the FDCPA if they persist and then I was told "have a nice day" and that they would remove me from the list. We'll see...

Harrassing calls

I get calls from these people about once a week. I never answer and they always leave an automated voicemail intended for my father (who I haven't seen since my parents got divorced several years ago). Apparently somehow he got my cell phone number and listed me as a contact.

Recently they've been claiming he's eligible to reduce his debt through some tax relief program if he calls 1-877-822-5296.

Though somewhat annoying, I'm not too concerned with these calls unless somehow my credit is affected--and I'm pretty sure it isn't.
