(631) 295-5822 Robo call recorded 3 March 2015 ("National Center for Aging issues a community alert for senior citizens over age 65...free medical alert alarm..." SCAM)
Caller ID: "Yaphank NY"
Also called recently from: (310) 599-6020 (240) 397-5331 (586) 231-3657 (321) 332-6561
A new recording of an old "free medical alert" alarm offer, and a feeble attempt to appeal to the cost-conscious senior citizens with free "grocery certificates" to push their "free" medical alert system..
Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of this "free Medical alert and $3,000 grocery certificates" offer:
[me:] Hello?
[they:] "The National Center for Aging has issued the following community alert for senior citizens over 65 years of age only. Due to the recent dramatic increase in injuries and deaths experienced by senior citizens from a fall, a burglary or any medical emergency, we are sending out free, live saving medical alert pendants to all eligible senior citizens. The cost of our medical alert system is already covered and there is no shipping charge to you. Press 1 now to verify your address and your delivery date. In addition to your new medical alert system you will also be receiving three thousand dollars in grocery store certificates to help you save every month on your household living expenses. The entire alert system and three thousand dollar gift certificate is free of charge. Again, press one now to verify your shipping address. Press 5 to notify your provider you have refused the shipment." [brief pause then message is repeated]
[At least they didn't say "...laying on the floor..." nor "...just press a buh-hun..." Gotta give them credit for this, lol.]
