I received the same scam message from a David Grey. 631-318-8611. The IRS will NEVER call you for money unless they have reached out to you through the mail first. Thick accent recorded message of gloom & doom if I did not call back ASAP Stated he worked for the federal government. Isn't that a crime? Wonder what we all have in common that allowed him to get our cell phone #s? It is pathetic that in this age of technology no one can stop this type of harassment.

Same call May 19, 2016 at 10:19 am. Same David, same threat, same BS! I returned one of these calls and let them know I was on to them. You would not believe the language and what he told me he was going to do to me! I called the sheriffs dept, unfortunately they get these complaints all the time and have no way of tracing these calls.

Received the same call that everyone else is describing yesterday from David Gray. "This message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury. Ignoring this will be an intentional 2nd attempt to avoid an appearance before a magistrate judge or grand jury. I'd advise you to cooperate with us and to help us help you"
Anyone who falls for this deserves to be scammed.

Got this call a couple of days ago, called them back today. They threatened me with a warrant for my arrest by the FBI and stated that I owed over $5k from tax year 2013. said the IRS had attempted to contact me a couple of times.

received a call today from 631 318 8611 I live in Hoboken NJ and almost picked up my landline because 631 is a long island NY number so I thought it could a real call. Nope. Said exactly what other said. Threatening, criminal action, sort of a British accent. how do I report this?

Call from David Gray on 5/18/16 stating that the US Treasury is taking action against me. That this was their second attempt at contact and I could face serious consequences for ignoring this call, etc.

Got a voicemessage asking me to call this number, he claimed to be with US Treasury Dept, threatened court action with a "magistrate" if i didn't respond. What a joke, obviously a scam. Im glad other people reported the same, i wont be calling this number.

Got a call from this number as well but he said his name was Dave Harvey, with either an Indian or Pakistani accent and same modus operandi. Threatening criminal action from the US Dept. of Treasury I know that 613 is a Canadian area code phone number.

They called with threat of legal action against me for a "petrochemical offense.

Got the same BS call today. Too damn many phonies out there. One can't be too careful in this new, "technologically-advanced" world. Just too many con artists, crooks, and creeps.
