Got a call from this number saying I was being contacted regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury and if I disregarded this message they would take criminal action. It was a recording so I hung up as I knew it was a scam and also didn't want malware or ransom ware sent to my phone. Was reading on yahoo they can actually send malware or ransom ware to your phone through these scam calls.

Received on voice mail call from same man with heavy foreign accent.
Kind of British but not exactly. Threatening sounding, same dialogue as others but said his name was David Quay ? Obvious scam. Received this morning (5/16/16 at around 11:00AM in Glenshaw, PA

Same Information as reported above. "I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you." You know it's a scam no reference information for you to call back with no addressing you by your legal name. Idiot's:( Some area codes charge a great deal of money for call's. Don't answer calls unless you recognize the number. Check on line like we all must have done to see who real and who's not.

Steve Martin left me a voice mail about needing to contact me regarding an actionable offense taken against me by the US Treasury Department. Failure to return the call is a second attempt to avoid blah blah blah, something about a magistrate judge or a grand jury. He was clearly reading a script. The number he left was 631-318-8611. I will call back tomorrow for amusments sake.

he call ed me and said this is his second attempt to call from the US Treasury and by not replying back could lease to my arrest. I call the number back in the morning and it went right to his v/m his cell phone wasn't even on scam

In order to avoid being called before a magistrate or grand jury please call so 613-318-8611 Great Meadows (?) can help you."

If you call this number, the buttons you press navigating your through the call will allow other people to bill things, mostly collect calls, to your phone number.

The call is probably coming from a cell phone inside of a prison.

I just got the creepiest scam call ever ! Some guy with a foreign accent calling himself " Steve Martin". This message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action adjudicated by the United States Treasury impending a serious intention. Ignoring this will be an intentional 2nd attempt to award initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offence. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you.

I got the same call minutes ago. He says I owe $6750.00 from mistakes on 2012 taxes. I told him I was going to call IRS to verify this. He said if I hang up he would have to notify federal authority and IRS actions will be taken immediately. Of course I encouraged him to by all means do what he has to do.
