The calls are always about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. One time I played along to see what they were getting at and basically they are trying to get people to give the SSN or their account information which I never did.

Caller: first name only on message and then a different name when live caller connected

This is the credit card scam. This is a prerecorded all requesting for me to press option one to speak with a live rep or any other options to be removed from their list. I have pressed the option to speak with a live rep and they hung up on me.
