She called from a New York number and I didn't answer so she left a voicemail. The voicemail stated that her name was Andrea and it was URGENT that I gave her a call back! She didn't specify why this was so "urgent" but her voice sounded dire. Only to search the number and land on this page! Thanks guys!
Andrea Gibson, trying to collect a debt that is not owed. Says this is an attempt to collect a debt but when I asked where I could send legitimate verification the debt was not owed, she refused. From what I gather she is with netcollections.net in Kennesaw, GA. Not New York City. Or, she is in NYC but works for the Kennesaw agency. i'm fine with collecting debts, even fine with someone trying to confirm the debt is valid. But when you have verifiable proof the debt is invalid and she refuses to give you a place to send it, there is a problem. So, I called them back to again ask for the address or email to send the info to, but she said I can't call her. Funny, she calls and harasses us then literally tells me I can't call her, all I need to know is she is attempting to collect a debt. What a joke.
They buy bad debt accounts that companies were not able to collect. In this case apparently gym accounts. That's a clue. They paid to get the bad accounts and they will stop at nothing to make a profit. Bad debt or not.
This caller called me about a bill I do not owe. She informed me she was trying to collect a debt (I asked where to send documentation to prove this is not a valid debt, she refused.) d to let me.) I have no way of sending her proof that the debt is not valid and no recourse.
Called looking for my son who is 11-years old and claimed he owed a debt for a gym membership. When told that he was 11 and did not owe jack she was rude. When asked how she got my number she stated that my son listed the number.

She called me about my son who is 16 years old. When I explained his age she began yelling over me. So, I filed a complaint with the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs and the BBB.
Andrea Gibson call me trying to collect a debt of $450 for an old gym membership. I explained to her that I can't owe them money because the gym no longer exists and I only had a one month trial to see if I liked the gym. She then proceeded to threaten me with the chance of being prosecuted.
