Same thing, this scammer sent an automated call to my cell number today, claiming to be with the IRS and stated that there would be "dire" consequences if I ignored the call. I have dealt with the IRS before, but they send you letters in the mail and THEN they call you, and it's usually a local office, not some scumbag faker from out of the state. Number shows up on caller ID as being a New York area code.
