The caller had difficulty speaking fluent English so was difficult to thoroughly understand. He claimed to be a representative of the US Government for grants to get "Free money". I asked him to put my number on his do not call list, blocked the number, and reported the number to Federal Trade Commission, do not call list https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx but this is clearly some sort of scam.

Yup - the number popped up on caller ID. Thanks to reports on everycaller, I did not answer and immediately added it to my Blocked numbers.

Just received the most fake call trying to obtain my personal information. Saying they want to deposit 9k.
I was hung up on the minute i began questioning.

This bozo with an Indian accent called to say I was selected for a $9K government grant. The number he called from was 646-504-7237. He needs to be locked up for impersonating a Federal employee. This is a grant scam - don't fall for it.
