Recorded call stating that I had a lawsuit filed against me, and that I needed to call them back immediately. They made it sound very realistic and frightening. I called back right away, but it does not even ring like it is a computer telephone number, and there is no way to leave a message and they do not answer.

Threats about arrest and fraud.

Got the same call. If everyone who receives it plays along and wastes their time it will slow them down a bit.

I got the same call today, making threats. I called it back and asked for their name and the company name. He tells me his name and he asked for mine and I didn't tell him. he told me that he was calling from the United States Department of Justice Treasurer IRS. So I asked him again the name of his company and he said United States Justice Department. I told him that u are not from any of those Federal Government agencies and told him that if they call me again that I was gonna send his ass back to Pakistan

Got the same call, same "charges" against me from an officer Judy Smith. They said I have to call right away so I won't be arrested, blah, blah, blah.....Why can't the phone companies stop these BS calls?

RECEIVED A RECORDED CALL FROM 646-517-4770 THAT I HAD TAX FRAUD AGAINST ME. TO CALL BEFORE IT WENT TO FEDERAL CLAIMS COURT AND OR BEFORE I WAS ARRESTED. I contacted my local sheriff department and they said they were aware of this scam and unfortunately it is being run from over seas so they are having a difficult time shutting it down. Just don't give them any information and you will be fine.

Robocall. I supposedly had a tax fraud against me and wanted to call 646-517-4770. This is probably the 3rd or 4th call like this and it always comes from a different number.

Just spoke with these knuckleheads today.. trying to do the same thing to me.. Funny thing, Im actually a police officer.. they didn't believe me until they heard my radio.. I even turned on my sirens and changed the pitch for him. He hung up.. don't think he will call again. Kinda sad bout that!

I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL RECORDED CALL ON 3/22/16 FROM 646-517-4770. THE CALLER CLAIMED HE IS WITH THE IRS, HE GAVE IS NAME AS JAMES CATER, ID # 10059.HE CLAIMED THAT I HAD A TAX FRAUD AGAINST ME FOR $7,800.00, FOR 2011& 2012. HE ALSO CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST.HE SAID I HAD TO PAY AS LEAST A HALF OF IT TODAY, OTHERWISE THEY ARE GOING TO ENFORCE THE WARRANT. IT WAS THEN THAT i TOLD HIM THE IRS DOESN'T OPERATE LIKE THAT, AND HANG UP MY PHONE. BUT, I CAN'T LIE I WAS SHAKEN UP,

They called and said they're from US treasury.and when I said "hmm how funny because they sont communicate via phone" and they hung up on me! Dont be fooled by these people folks. They are probably truing to scam people for money. Tax ppl DO NOT call to communicated to tax payers. They send mail and if important, they send registered mail.

Had the same call, they are coming to arrest me. I just wish Verizon would let us use "nomorerobo".
