They called me too as Ryan Smith. I called back and got some man with an Indian accent. He proceeded to give me some badge number and arrest warrant number. Then he asks me how I file my taxes - I replied that I wasn't comfortable answering those questions with him and then he hung up on me!

IRS SCAM PHONE CALL. FROM A MANHATTAN AREA CODE. TO ME IN SAN DIEGO. FAKE FAKE FA:KE. IRS DOES NOT MAKE CALLS. THEY SEND EVERYTHING ON PAPER. PHONE CALL TO SAN DIEGO AT 7:45 AM. I HAD MY PHONE ON SILENT OR IT WOULD HAVE WOKEN ME UP.
