Firat of all, if i had tax fraud they wouldnt aick a voice rw orsi g on me, rhey would call me like a human being and sent me letters, or deduct my pay check. I got this same recording the other day. Afraid to call and start something. Regardless, it's still scary when you get things like this

This is a legal petition notice concerning a tax fraud against you so before the matter against you go to federal claims court house or you get arrested please call immediately on our hotline division number which is 646-583-0857 make sure you call us as soon as possible

I called it back, when they answered I advised them that I am recording the call and willl be turning the recording over to the police. The person speaking on the other end said that I am turning all of your information over to the authorities and hung up. Hummmm he did not take time to verify my name. I could have been calling to tell him they had a wrong number..... IDIOTS!!!

They called but did not say I won a Grant, instead they said I had a Tax Fraud Suit filed against me and it was about to default to judgment if I did not return the call immediately. I'm trying to contact them now - I'm so worried LOL!

I have been called seven times by this caller, each time there was nothing on the other end, no voice, no beeping, nothing, just silence. I'm worried what they may do if they have my phone number.

Federal Grant Scam call my cell 6 times asking my name and then hanging up. ..Beware!! 1-646-583-0857. I reported this number to the BBB fraud department.

Identified as Inspector from some agency. Accent was that of Indian or Pakistani or Shri Lankan. I hung up the phone. These crooks are aiming at seniors to get credit card info, and then commit a fraud.

THIS NUMBER CALLED 303-570-XXX AND TRIED TO PITCH A GOVERNMENT GRANT TO THE PHONE OWNER. WHEN THE PHONE OWNER REFUSED TO ACCEPT AND SAID HE WAS NOT INTERESTED, THE CALLER SAID HE "WOULD PAY" FOR WASTING HER TIME.

Will not stop calling. When they call I answer to try to get on their do not call list but nobody answers and then like a weird noise happens and then it hangs up. If this is the grant place I spoke with them once and they immediately hang up when I say I don't need a grant. Annoying. How did I even get on their stupid call list.

She started briefing about the grant, and as soon as I say "I'm not a US citizen", she immediately hung up in the middle of her statement.

They said they were offering a grant. That's as far as I let them get. It sounds like a sweatshop in Burma rather than any United States operation. When you call back it takes a long time to connect indicating its probably a fake New York phone number

Woman who could barely speak English said she was calling from the United States Government Grants and I had won a grant. She wanted my full name, address, social security number and my bank account number so she could put money in my account. I said if I had applied for a grant, they would have my name and address. I then asked her what name she had for my phone number. She hung up.
