A woman identifying herself as Marta from Windows Computer called... I started to laugh really hard and I guess they don't like to be laughed at... She hung up on me. I knew it was a scam the second she identified herself as from Windows... Windows isn't a company. Microsoft owns windows so I couldn't help but laugh at the clumsy attempt at a scam.

I am tired of this caller. They call me twice a day saying they are in the technical department of Windows. Right there that tells me it is a scam. The company is not Windows it is Microsoft. And I know for a fact from past experience that if you have a security problem on your computer Microsoft will never call you, you have to track down who to call to help you with your problem. I have told this person many different things to try to get them to stop calling. Everything from, I know your not with "Windows" to I don't have a computer and don't call me ever again. But NO they still call at least twice a day. I'm reporting them to do not call. They need to be arrested.

Scammers called me, too. I don't answer calls I do not recognize - so call went to voice mail. I could hear fellow scammers yapping in the background. Caller ID said "Cell Phone, NY."

Caller: Apparently "Microsoft" scammers, according to notes I have read.

Called my cell phone, identified himself to be with Windows and said they've received signals from my computer that they were going to help me fix. Asked if I was the primary user, I told him no and he said to go ahead and get in front of my computer. Told him I wasn't near computer. Went on and on, finally asked if he could call back same time tomorrow. Heavy accent, may India?

claimed that i was being hacked and i need to get to my computer now. I played along with them and listed to the line of shit they feed. after 19 minutes they figured that i was "wasting their time" and demanded that i pay them for their services. total fraud.

wanted to get into computer to check spam problem from foreign country. wanted personal information. Would not get supervisior when requested said he was in California. He call back twice and when it refused to hand up he told me to go fuck my self and hung up

The live message promoted that my computer was in the process of being hacked, claimed to be calling from Windows, was very aggressive when I told him that (1) I was not interested as this was the fifth such call, and (2) that this is a do-not call #; whereupon the caller wondered how I would like it if my internet access was interrupted by him. I asked him if he was threatening me, whereupon a disconnect took place with the call.
