Received a call for my employer from an Indian-sounding man calling himself Andy Parker with the Department of Legal Affairs in Brooklyn, NY; he wouldn't provide any information regarding nature of call; definitely sounded "scamish"

They called me also A guy named Darren James. Told me I was under arrest and an officer is coming to my home to arrest me.

Yup I got one from an Andy Parker from the Dept of Legal Affairs saying legal proceedings were forthcoming by the uS Treasury. When I started asking questions, he rushed off the phone. Can you say "scam"?

who can I report this to?? this is ridiculous. they called me three times last Friday and today and every time I hung up they called me back and asked why I hung up..I forgot the guys name who called but he was connecting me to Officer David Wilson as well for a highly confidential matter and talking about warrants... both guys had accents. They also asked for my grandfather first who passed away 6 years ago ..I would think the US Treasury of legal affairs would have record of that smh!

Called today. Left two different names on the message - Fred McGuire and Dwayne McGuire. The caller ID said Darren James. Said he was from the Dept. of Legal Affairs.

Yeah my girlfriend got a call from this number from Arraon James and now I'm calling 646-657-1577 with *67 and cursing them out lmfaooooo. I can't say here what I'm telling them but I am disrespecting them and their mothers and fathers while using extremely cruel and hurtful words. They keep hanging up #cowards.

Just got the same call. Asked to speak to his supervisor. That's when he hung up. He left a message as well. Said his name was Shawn White and was from the Dept of Treasury, blah, blah. It is a SCAM. How can this be reported?

It's a scam. Left a message saying he was with the US Department Of Treasury, once called he asked for personal information then when such information was not provided he immediately said he was going to arrest me in 45 minutes. No such arrest happened or will happen. Also, to be clear, the US Treasury and IRS are two different branches.
