broken English...sounds like a complete moron.
Voice-altered robocall rec'd this afternoon from "IRS Investigation Team," claiming that I had 4 issues pending against me and that I had 24 hrs to call a different number given in recording. If I didn't call, local authorities could/would put out a warrant for my arrest (or would just plain come and arrest me).
Note I've not been arrested yet and I rec'd at least 3 previous calls with this message from various phone numbers. I didn't follow up with any of them as they had requested/ordered.
Caller: IRS Investigation Team
Tax Scam....threatening 24 hrs to call back or be arrested and 4 pending charges filed will be litigated. Doesn't use the word IRS but instead "tax filing." 646-682-0916
