Receive about 4 to 5 automated calls a day from 646 759 4938 claiming to be the US treasury and someone named Kevin Mason what a crock!!! Obviously a scam so I called it back and told them they needed to stop or the actual Federal Government would be involved got hung up on and blocked LOL

I received 3 messages within an hour. After reading this site, I called them back to tell that I was investigating a scammer. They hanged up immediately. Then I made 10 calls and they blocked my phone number. What will happen if everyone calls them a few times?

Kevin Mason, at that number- very vague about details. Said something about US Treasury and enforcement action. Obviously a scam.

I got multiple calls on my machine and when I called back I was told I owe over $5,000 in taxes and fees, and if I didn't give him more information they would arrest me within 45 minutes.... the arrest threat was the first hint that there was a mistake. The IRS would certainly begin with a letter, and the arrest threat was laughable, so I hung up.

My 91 year old tax client received THREE calls within the hour from this phone number. I called back and spoke with gentleman claiming that Mr. Kevin Mason was on another call and if he could help me. (that was first clue that a treasury agent would never call you or transfer the call to another transfer agent). I confirmed that he stated this was the US Treasury which he said so TWICE (alleging fraud). I advised him that I was going to call the IRS and have him investigated for harassing a 92 year old lady 3 times within the hour. He quickly hung up.

Called my house stating that someone would be here to arrest my wife for back taxes in 45 minutes. caller said his name was David Jones from US treasury Badge #117086. Prick!
