From googling, I discovered this number belongs to a furniture store called Arteriors Home in Rose Hill, NY. To confirm that, I called the number (well after they closed, as it was after 10:00 pm central, so after 11:00 pm in NY). Their voicemail answers with this message, "We are experiencing issues with our phone system. Please disregard calls from this number." Therefore, I conclude that a scammer is using their number to hide his tracks, and that Arteriors Home has received multiple calls from people like me who are getting calls that falsely indicate they are from Arteriors Home's phone number. The fact that someone is falsely using this number as their own is more than enough evidence for me to decide to follow the advice of the REAL owner of the number: I have now blocked this number, which called me for the first time today and then called another two times (without leaving any message, of course). Unless you have done business with Arteriors Home in NY, I suggest you do the same.
