I received the same type of call from a Mike Cooper, also a Mike Berg, claiming to be with the McKinney Law firm. He said that there was a bank fraud case being built against me for not paying back a payday loan that I never received. They just kept calling and were always very rude and threatening. Be careful, they are now using the number 714-243-8316 to continue this scam

The same type of call mentioned above like the others. I received a call telling me they have an Affidavit for a payday loan that I didn't pay back. They had my Social and my address, but refused to give me any other info on the case. When I confronted them with my facts and ask n=him to listen to me he began to get rude and then terminated the phone call. I tried to return the call but it goes directly to a email. I then proceeded t to Google and I come across the scam sites. Thanks and I hope it dose not happen to anyone else.

i got a call from this number today. somehow this wannabe lawyer got my social security number and knew my name both. he was trying to get me to pay installments for a payday loan place i owe money. but yet i havent got no court papers and i havent seen it on casenet. so i am just going to ignore calls from this number. ugh!

Mkinny's Law Firm Mike Cooper, Nick Becker,I think, very very hard to understand. Threatend that I have a case against me from a payday loan last year but I am not allowed to have the case information. I asked if I could have their address and if they could send me something in writing to give to my lawyer and the gentleman told me to "shutup", then started threatening me some more and hung up on me. They keep calling and harrassing my personal phone and my work number. They need to be stopped.

This gentleman said his name was Ryan something, obviously not his true name, an he sad he was the lead attorney on a civil case and that he was threatening me with reporting me to all sorts of agencioes. When I asked him his name, he said he was with the McKinney Law Group. I pulled it up on the computer, put him on hold, called the law firm, and lo and behold - IT WAS A SCAM!
When I confronted him with these facts, he hung up

I also got a call from them today. It said I needed to call back or have my attorney call back. I know that Im up to date on everything so it couldn't be a overdue bill. The guy I could barely understand on the phone and he made a very threatening phone call...told me if I didn't call back he felt sorry for what happened to me. I did not call back because I did not feel right about it. After reading the other complaint here I know that it was good I did not. I'm not going to worry about it.

I got a call today from a Mike Cooper from this number the last number I recieved a phone call from was a mid eastern accent indian phone number 626-239-3142 if that looks familiar to anyone. Same thing I need to call him back or have my Attorney call him back because I didn't answer the call. He had left a message he said what company he was from but i couldn't understand what it was.
He told me that I was not to ignore the message if I did he felt sorry for what would happen to me, its another payday loan scam they need to really get lives and a real job and stop trying to extort money from people, if anyone gets call from this number ignore it.
