Automated calling repeatedly even though I have call blocked

TEN calls from this number today in the last FOUR HOURS, the last one not five minutes ago (and it's 9:30 PM as I write this). I didn't answer any of them -- I never do if I don't know the caller or the caller-ID is blocked -- and the caller left no message. This is a very persistent spammer/scammer who has no respect for the time.

Constantly calls. Called 8 times in 1 day one time. 3 of those times were in one hour while I was at my Drs office. They never leave a message. Several times when I actually answered I have to say Hello several times then I get hung up on or he will start talking in a thick accent that is terribly hard to understand so I hang up. One time he asked specifically for me & described my vehicle & I feel its a call about trying to extend my car warranty. I told him I wasn't interested yet keep getting phone calls & I ignore them. A few days ago I had a friend answer n he told the guy to stop calling but this was after having to say Hello several times. The man on the other end stuttered & said sorry & then hung up even though called later 5 more times & this is the same day I was at my Doctor's appointment. Luckily I haven't had any calls for a couple of days so I'm truly hoping they got the point that they are wasting their time. When the call comes through it does say California. Very suspicious now seeing that your system says landline even though I could tell it was a telemarketing call. The man that calls always has a VERY THICK Arabic accent just like when you talk to most customer service people through straight talk phone service.
