Michell called and left a message to call back on 800 number everything the same as all the other. Call capitol one and reported it. they took the information and the phone numbers

Got a call from Michelle about lowering my interest rate but telling me to call back at a completely different number. #scamalert

Ashley from Capital One's Underwriting called me to say based on my balance and recent payment activity on my account I qualified for a reduced interest rate of 1.9%, but have to call back in 3 days. The toll free number is 800-969-4345, however calling from 937-839-2007. **SCAM ALERT**

Carol called from the underwriting department regarding Capital One Credit card to offer an interest rate reduction. Called from a Central Islip, NY number however left 1-800-957-4008 number to call back.

"Cathy" is now calling from (541) 918-2157; but left this toll free number to call her back, 1-800-957-4008... within three business days to lower my interest rate to 1.9%. Pretty sneaky; I'm also going to be reporting this information to Capital One Customer Service, BBB, and the FTC. Maybe "Cathy," would like to know....

I basically got the same call that has been reported. Twice, not two minutes apart. Robot caller Cathy, from capital ones underwriting department. Due to payment history my interest rate could be lowered to 1.9% only if I call back in the next 3 days. Call back number was 1-800-399-0043.

I received 2 calls today from the same phone number as stated by others above my post.and person and to call the same phone number as well to get lower (1% interest rat { sure they will give that to me, LOL.} And they want info to do so. I do not have a Capital One credit card, never did. Cathy was the name given by the robo caller. They called my cell number. I highly suspected it to be a scam of some sort. I am reporting this Capital One tomorrow. Oh, Cathy said she calling
from the underwriters department.
