WATCH OUT!!! IDENTITY THEFT!!! ATTEMPTING TO STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!! This caller claimed to be from GoDaddy, needed to verify my info and credit card number. I asked questions like, where are you calling from? Why are you needing this info? etc. I believe the caller had an accent from India. After calling GoDaddy, they confirmed this call did not come from them. I called the incoming number back and there's a greeting with an American accent that says the company's name is MyTech Robotics or M Tech Robotics with an option to leave a message. After googling the number, company is listed to be out of India.

Called me to "verify my recent domain purchase from GoDaddy" represented themselves as a GoDaddy employee, had all my information, wanted to verify expiration and security code of my credit card used. Insisted that I give all 16 digits of my credit card, at which point I refused, and he said I could speak to his manager and that my domain purchase won't be complete until I confirm my number. When I refused again he got upset reminding me that this call was being monitored and reviewed by federal regulations and hung up on me.

Caller speak broken English, wanted to verify my information because of my recent domain purchase from Godaddy.com. I told her to email me whatever information she needs to verify but she insisted to verify over the phone. She verified my name, phone number then mailing address. I got upset when she wanted to verify my address so she hung up on me.

Same exact story as the post above. Called to verify a new GoDaddy listing. Knew all the WHOIS data, but wanted to confirm credit card information.

Caller wanted to verify my name and mailing address and phone number because of my recent domain purchase from Go Daddy.com. Then he proceeded to demand that I verify my credit card information where I paid for the website. When I refused, he was almost screaming in the phone that they were quality assurance company. I hung up on them
