SO MUCH FUN--I Had to Cover My Mouth--LAUGHING!!
GO HERE>>> http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0346-tech-support-scams ....I get a call only 1 or 2 times a week (Used to be every Day, Sometimes 2-3) Sometimes they say something, usually just silent, then hangs up. After talking to them, and "Playing" along --I wasted 20+ minutes of their time a few times ...I think they see that on their notes and When I answer they Hang Up!! LOL! If you have the Time--Lead them on, ask a lot of questions, Stall using silence, make them repeat things, Even do the "There was this One time" ....then just blab about something--ANYTHING..they WILL Listen, just to "Get your Trust" When it comes time to "Access" ..DON'T, back off and Ask more questions or see about a package deal or a Senior Discount, let them go through ALL THAT, giving you a better "Deal" I had them drop from $349 down to $199 (lifetime service)or $199 down to $99 for a one time!!(LOL) Usually after the 20 minute mark, they start the .."This is very Important, it will save you a lot of Problems and $$$ you will be Fully Protected--Worry Free", You don't want your computer, and Everything connected to it, to be at Risk, do you?---Some of these are "Self-Replicating" and can render everything USELESS in a Matter of Days!! Ask them to go over what all is to be done, in more Detail, Please? After 25-30 minutes, they get more aggressive, even Angry!! That is when you just say, "Well if you're going to be RUDE About it"......then HANG-UP!! *** Cheap Entertainment!! WASTE THEIR TIME!! They Hate that!*** NEVER GRANT THEM ACCESS! Just Mess With Them!! HaHaHa!
These people called from a number that say Orange, CA but stated that they are in south Florida. When I asked the company name I got told Universal Solutions. When I questioned what the business address was I was hung up on. When I called back and asked for a supervisor while wait, Quinn, the representative that answered had an attitude and told me I was wasting their time before hanging up on me. I called back once more to ask to be put on the do not call list I spoke with yet another rude and aggressive representative who told me that the company was called Tech Solutions and refused to give me the business address and hung up on me. On my final call back to try to get removed from their call list I got told that I was stupid because quote "In a court of law there's no do not notify list." before being hung up on. SCAM SCAM SCAM
Acted as Microsoft I was
