I just got a call too. It is a SCAM! if you ever applied for one payday loan you rinformation was shared for them to threaten you with fake loans.

Yesterday just after 5:00 p.m, a man named "David Williams" called me saying that there was a lawsuit pending for my name and social security number, and if I did not call him back legal action would be taken against me. I called him back around 5:45 p.m, and he asked me if I knew that there was a case against my name, and I told him, that I have received similar calls from this particular company, but they have refused to give me any documentation, and that it was for my attorney's eyes only. He said that if I didn't pay and take care of this supposed debt, that I would be taken to court, be fined $8000, and could put me behind bars for two years. I told him again that I have proof that I have not had any deposit from an online payday loan company, and my bank even verified it with me. This particular company threatened to arrest me back in April, and have yet to do so, but these calls are getting to the point where I am afraid that someone will be knocking on my door and threaten to arrest me for something not punishable by jail-time.
