I kept pressing them to see what kind of financial services company they were, and they gave me a name which I looked up on the internet and was false (real place was out of Cali). The guy eventually made a "flustered" noise and hung up on me.

they called and asked if i wanted to lower my interest rate and then asked me to push one i did and they hung up
