Some idiot calling himself Alex Young and then turning me over to his boss, Jack Thompson, (who is the most Indian sounding Jack Thompson that I have ever heard of) told me that I was being sued and would be arrested Friday. I told him that he was a stupid and SOB and should learn to speak English and hung up. Then he called back to ask if I had hung up on him. I repeat similar comments as before and told him to get after it.
Tom Smith called me yesterday. He said that I was going to be arrested for not paying a payday loan. This is a SCAM people. He knew my SSN, last 4 digits of my bank account, and my work phone and address. When I called back a few hours later he threatened me. He said he was going to rape me and kill my family. I will be contacting my local authorites to file a police report. This is not acceptable and I recommend anyone else who gets these calls to do the same thing and file a police report. Do not let these SCAM artists get away with it.

I already gave them $250...is there anyway to get it back?? I am sick..

I don't know how to go about getting your money back. I would recommend contacting your local authorites and explaining the situation along with disputing the charges with your bank or credit card company.
I received a call from this number as well the first person I spoke with was a Joe Adams (I'm presuming that is not his real name) he said I was being named in a lawsuit on 3 different counts for illegal downloads, check fraud and something else I can't recall.
Then I was transferred to another person David Stone, also don't believe that was his real name, he said I took a loan out from a PayDay Lender and didn't pay it back and that I now owe them $8,484.00 for their legal fees. I had taken a loan out some time ago, but have all the verification that it was paid off. I asked for info about the loan, but he could not tell me when it was taken out, how much was taken or who was owed any money. Just that his Law Firm -California Law Firm- was responsible for obtaining payment from me.
He put me on hold and came back and said he spoke with someone and said that they could settler for and Out of Court Restitution of $1,100.23. He gave me his name and phone number and asked me to fax a letter to him stating how I would be making payment. I said I couldn't do it today and that I needed to do some research first.
He said if I didn't that the police were going to come to my work and take me to jail. I hung up. He called back 2 days later asking why I hadn't faxed the letter.
I had contacted the MN Attorney General's office to see what they could find about this company and if they had a legit claim, the gentleman at the attorney general's office tried calling them and looked them up and told me it was a scam (which I had already figured but wanted to be sure).
I have not heard from them again since I called them out for being a scam.
This number is also calling me saying i took out a loan on line and it was direct deposited to my bank account. I have not taken out a loan at all. They are also offering sexual favors to me and just harrassing me. Somehow he got my social security number and my bank account number. I am filling a police report and doing everything I can to get them in trouble. The people who called me said their names were Fernando and Jarred And They work for California Law Firm
The call I recieved was from Alan Sanders of Sanders Law Firm. I googled them and nothing showed up. I am filing a police report. I intend to follow through and see that this operation is shut down. I am strongly considering a civil lawsuit against this group. I have wasted 2 hours of my work day trying to ensure that this was not a legitimate claim. The company they claim to represent does not even distribute cash advances in California. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This is an extortion ring. Contace Det. Barnes of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Department 661-287-4097and make a complaint with him. If he recieves enough calls they will have to investigate and follow this through.
