These people have been calling every single day, 4 or 5 times all within the 707 area code, they will not remove you from their list and when you try to call the number back it is disconnected. They have been using 100's of different number and this should be illegal.

Yeah.. I've gotten a couple of calls from these people. Whenever I ask them if I can look up some info about the programs they're talking about online, they tell me to go on energy.gov. Might as well tell me to go to google.com. I gave them my info though just to see where the rabbit hole lead. Got a call from a solar company a couple of hours later. They're just a lead generation company giving a bit of misinformation in order to get people hooked. Not ok with the business practice. Solar is awesome though - look for solar companies directly and try to get multiple bids from different installers.

I also received a call from Sustainable Energy Outreach. The caller told me they were part of a federally funded program. I repeatedly asked if they were a federal agency, and she gave me vague responses. As I was running out the door, I told her I'd google them for more info. I had suspected they were a scam, and I appear to be right!

I got a call from Sustainable Energy Outreach with this number on 6/2/2016 and again on 6/3. I've been getting calls from these people for months now...At least twice a week. They use a different spoofed phone number everytime they call, so blocking doesn't help. Sometimes they use Sustainable Energy Institute, but their official name is Sustainable Energy Outreach LLC. Their goal is to set an appointment to have a "state certified engineer" visit your home to let you know what funding programs you qualify for to install solar panels and other home upgrades to save money on your electric bills. They won't / can't provide any details over the phone, and don't have a web site. I have found job openings posted for "appointment setters" for Sustainable Energy Outreach listed on LinkedIn and the interesting thing is resumes are instructed to be sent to a nrgremodeling.com email address. So I'm guessing Sustainable Energy Outreach is just a front for Energy Remodeling Inc's aggressive telemarketing efforts.
