Sent a text message about Illinois drivers license waiver validation, with a clickable link. Supposedly from 'Illinois Department of Transportation' (IDOT). The link goes to google documents. I live in Illinois but the number that sent the text is from Tupelo, Mississippi. Definitely a scam to get personal info. The department of transportation is NOT going to send you a text or call you. They will send you a letter in the U.S. mail about your license is about to expire. Not only that, it will come from the state you live in. They sent me a letter in the mail 3 months before my license expired.
