Fell for this last year, then called Apple and realized it was a scam. Had to change my checking account number, which was a nightmare since so many of my accounts were automatic draft or deposit. They could not collect on the $700+ they charged because my account had been closed (ha-ha), and I blocked their phone number so they couldn't get through to me anymore. I will do this now, but they are also using other phone numbers. Apple warned me that this is rampant at this time so BEWARE!!!
