This number called our business with the caller ID of "Georgia Call" and claimed to be AT&T. The female caller was talking very fast and I couldn't understand her name.

She said, "I'm **** with AT&T and calling to set up the appointment time to switch over your telephone service." I questioned them, multiple times, about this alleged "switch over". The female stated that "AT&T is changing over all copper telephone services to UVerse and we're calling to set up the appointment times when they can make the change."

I very quickly told them "NO. You are not making any changes. You are not coming on site. You *will make a note on my account that says this conversation happened. I am calling AT&T within an hour to verify the addition. If it's not on the record, I'll know you were trying to 'slam' us."

Before calling AT&T I called this number back (on a different line unrelated to the business) and asked for their company name. They said "CSN" and then asked, "Is this (our business name)?" I never told them the name, so it was a confirmed correct callback.

As planned, I called AT&T who said several things.

1) This company is not listed as authorized to represent AT&T
2) The number is listed as a cell phone and highly suspicious
3) Actual authorized representatives are not "telling" people anything - they are supposed to be "promoting the change"
4) No third party resellers are allowed to call themselves "AT&T"
