Obvious fake. Not the standard procedure. Not a federal phone number. Since this is a "last warning" where was the others. Fake!!!!!
Pretended to be the IRS.. Saying I owe over $6,000. That there's already an arrest warrant for me. They've put a lean on everything I own and will let my creditors my actions of tax evasion, tax fraud, etc. Have frozen all my accts. Bottom line.. Wanted to know how much of the $6,000 I could pay today. I said not a penny. I asked where this call was coming from. Was told Wash DC by two different IRS OFFICERS. This phone number is actually from Georgia. Two guys threatened me and we're getting very rude. Said if there was a disconnect on my end, I would immediately be arrested. They also said I should really have my CRIMINAL ATTORNEY talk with them. Told them this was the first time I've even heard about this. They said they had proof I had received their two yellow letters that were left on my door, and wanted to know why I hadn't responded to them. And they wanted an explanation why I had given fraudulent info on my taxes. I would be going to prison for five years. This "one higher officer actually hung up on me". I called the number back.. Asked to talk with one of the original guys I had just talked with. Some guys Sid just a min, I'll get him. Then all of a sudden "click". They need turned into the POLICE.
Suggests I need a criminal attorney when I call back...robot female voice
