These folks called me one day saying they were with Chase. I almost fell for it. After reading some questions that you are supposed to ask "credit collectors ", I called back the next day. I asked what company they were and they gave me a different name. I asked for their mailing address and she refused to it to me. Scam. Don't fall for it.

Said they were chase credit card collections. Had my name and last four of my social security number. Don't ever acknowledge anything to anyone over the phone. Especially of past debts.

Left a message. Said I had documents that needed to be addressed in my county. Knew my maiden name and last 4 digits of my social security. When I called back, they wanted me to confirm my name and social and when I asked them who they were and I would not confirm any information, she said she couldn't talk to me and told me to have a nice day and hung up on me.
