Just got the same call as others described. When I told him that I googled the number and saw he was making the call to others, he hung up.

They called and a MAN with a thick Indian accent was on the phone, said his name was Ross Taylor i.d. # 5010. Asked for our owner by name. When I said he wasn't in, he said that he spoke to him a couple days ago about cancelling our online yellow page ad. He said our owner gave permission for them to call back and speak to anyone else. He said that our owner wanted to cancel our account (which we NEVER had an account) and that if I verbally accepted their invoice ($599!!!) that they would provide me with a cancellation number over the phone and would send the cancellation paperwork with the invoice, and place our number on the do not call list. The man asked if I was authorized to take down the confirmation code and asked if I was the mgr. or the secretary Then proceeds to tell me that HE AUTHORIZES ME and gives me permission to handle their invoices and take the code information. If I did not take down these codes then our account would go to the renewal department and we would be billed a 2nd invoice at the same "cost of $599.00". He got angry when I informed him that he can't authorize anything with this office and he would have to speak to the owner himself. yelled something I couldn't understand and hung up. They are scam artists! Beware!

They say they are with yellow pages but it's a scam to truck you into agreeing to a bogus Bill. Just hang up and block them.

said they were the yellow pages and unless I cancell they were going to send me a bill for 1500 dollers.And when I said no got mad and threaten me.I hung up and they still called.I called yellow pages it was not them.
