The call comes from "Credit Card Services." Credit Card Services is the name of a company run by J H Smit Duyzentkunst through SBN Peripherals, Inc. It is located at 3230 Cornell Rd., Agoura, CA 91301. His telephone number is (818) 879-9994. When I get these calls I do two things. 1) I report it to the "Do Not Call Registry" 2) I call him and tell him I want the calls to stop. He says he is no longer with the company. The State of California does not agree it lists him as the corporate officer to contact.
Then sue them if you have proof. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for
each violation.
I'd like to thank the people here who have provided the contact information for the company as well as the complaint info for the FCC and FTC (below). PLEASE, use all this information. Only if we harass the gov't bodies to make them stop will they stop.
These people have been harassing me for over 2 years. I have actually pressed "1" a couple of times to speak to a live rep and when I tell them I don't have credit cards and have NEVER had one, they hang up on me but the robo-calls continue. The last lady I spoke with said "stop wasting my time" and then hung up on me.
Speak up people. Complain often and yes, call that guy's home number.
