lower interest rates on credit cards

mentioned in the above paragraph...lowering of interest rates on my charge card(s). I have told many of the telemarketer on many of the phone numbers listed to STOP calling me .........

recorded message said 'you are eligible to lower your interest rate on your current credit card account...stay on the line to talk to a customer service rep..' I stayed on the line, and asked the "cust service rep" to take me off their call list, and he hung up on me immediately.

The call begins with a pre-recorded meesage from "Account Services" advertizing that the company can help lower "my" credit card bills; but time is running out and I must respond immediately. The pre-recorded voice states it is my last chance. The voice then says to press "1" to speak to an account advisor. I press "1" and when the account advisor answered, I told her I was on the DNC and told her to stop calling. She immediately hung up (12:29 PM, 8/9/2012) but then called back (12:49 PM, 8/9/2012) on a different number to further harass me. Would not answer the call when I pushed the "1" key.

they tell you that they work for visa, mastercard, etc and they can get you a lower interest rate. they don't tell you that they will charge your credit card a large amount up front for it.

Said they would lower my interest rate. When you push the button to speak with a live person they tell you they can lower your interest rate on all your credit cards and want your cc numbers. They will not tell you what company they work for and hang up on you when you ask.
