Call started off with a recorded message, pretending to be a card services center for a credit card company. When I pressed "1" I was connected to a person, they would not say which company but said they worked for several major banks. When I asked again for the company name they hung up on me.

Opportunity to lower credit card rates. I do not have any credit cards.

Lowering credit card interest rate...initially a recording from either "Anne" or "Rachel" advising I should hit "1" to talk to an operator or "3" to discontinue further calls. I have hit both many, many times...I get 5 or 6 of these calls per week. Sometimes an operator fails to pick up and the phone hangs up. If I even begin to ask them to remove me from their call list they immediately hang up.

They were soliciting loan consolidation and lower interest rates on credit debt.
