The call started with a recorded message telling me they could lower my credit card rate - I don't have a credit card anymore. I pressed 2 to discontinue these calls and got a young man. I told him I had asked numerous times to be removed from their list to no avail. I asked for their company name and address so I could file a complaint with the FCC and he hung up. The number he was calling from was listed on my phone as 701-920-9550. I don't know if that will help in tracking this company down. I have had numerous calls on my home phone and also an occasional call on my cell phone (512-590-9616) I have received quite a few calls from these people calling themselves card hold services or something like that. I don't remember the dates - they occur every couple of weeks.

They were offering the lowering of credit card interest rates. They claimed there would be no cost.

I have been getting voice mail calls from (I presume these same people) about every other day for the past week. This time I answered and played along and actually gave them a credit card number.

I was able to get through three tiers of their screening a couple of years ago. I reported them at the time. Since then I have been receiving hang-up calls daily (sometimes twice daily) from "OUT OF AREA". This has been going on for about two years.

I am willing to do anything possible to put a stop to this blatant violator of Do Not Call, Credit Card Services.

I am also considering lobbying my Representative and Senator to get stronger enforcement of Do Not Call. A few well-placed sting operations could put these scammers out of business. Millions of people are annoyed by these blatant violators, just Google them to see some examples.
