Just got the same call as described here. They would not give their name, they said they were from the library doing verification.

Just received a phone call, asking if our address, shop name, and owner were still the same. As they got to the owners name I asked what this call was about, and who they were. She said that these questions were for "verification purposes", though not for what, and would not give me their company name. I called my manager over to speak with them, as anything needing verification is not my call. They hung up on us. I would say Telemarketer or scam.
