I recieved a call from this number that they are collecting a bill for a hospital in Denver. The bill is paid. They said I had to fax them a copy of the check yet tonight so my credit won't be hurt. They won't tell me who they were but just wanted to give me a fax number. As I am a CPA I will not randomly fax a check with my routing number and account number to someone. I asked that they call the hospital if they truly were collectors to verify that this bill was paid. They refused as they said I am the one who should be worried as my credit will be hurt. The whole call was unprofessional and very strange.
