This is definitely a scam no question about it somebody needs to take care of this problem tired of it

calls about fake account asking for ss#. Dont talk to these people. Just drop any call from them.
ask for me by correct name and had last 4 of ss # then mentioned some account through a bank I have never heard of. asked for paperwork and caller ignored my request. continued to ask if they had correct person and when I said I have heard of this scam he hung up. That's all the proof anyone should need. Beware and block them
