Just got a call telling me to call them about my bill. My bill is not even due yet. It does sound legit.

I have NV Energy's number in my phone so when call came in it said NV Energy so I answered it then found it was a recording and I knew it was a scam, plus my bill is not due til March. The recording said press 1 I didn't and waited about a min then heard a disconnect. I did turn scam call into NV Energy and the FTC. NV Energy says they will never call. Don't fall for this scam!!!

Called but I didn't pick up. Called the number back and the recording sounds so legit. I looked up NV Energy's number and it didn't match the call and also found scam info on this site. Don't pick up the call!!

They just called and told me that technicians are within the area and will have my power shut off unless I pay them. I asked how much. The guy said I should know because it is my bill. I already paid for May last week so not past due here. Got the wrong house.
