This is a collection agency that calls about old debt that may or may not be yours, a family member's, someone with the same first name, etc. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and refused to tell me who she was or why she was calling. She asked if I was so-and-so's wife. Not wanting to answer, I said, "I don't know." She replied, "What do you mean you don't know? It's a pretty simple question!" She again refused to tell me who she was or the company she was calling with.

If you have Caller ID, don't ever pick up for Portfolio Recovery, whatever phone number they're calling from. It will just verify to them that their robo-dialers have finally reached a valid number.

other #s they use is; 800-900-1380...914-513-0443...407-347-6414...443-313-1381...404-921-2537...These are the numbers they have called me from JUST THIS WEEK How can I stop them? I Blocked 16 of these numbers already, which is all I am allowed. What can we do about this? mlseedsower@aol.com

These idiots are relentless, block their number if you can. It will save you alot of hassles because they DO NOT stop. They call under several different numbers including your local area code so be aware of that too.
