Promoting getting insurance leads. Directed to call a different number for more info. Although flagged as Spam, Call Control still let call pass through.

I received a message from them today saying called saying they were America West and left an 877 number to call back, I called back and it was a recording of a promotion for free tickets, 7night 8day cruise and it was all paid for by them. I was pulled from a raffle to win. They wanted me to confirm and meet them close to my house to collect the winnings and said their would be a lot of people there looking at all the great discounts they had for traveling. The address they picked was very sketchy!!! Scam watch out!

Basically the same call as previously mentioned by others --- a "travel" scam. Offered me two round trip tickets on cruises out of Miami or Baltimore. Called my cell #, and the only people who have that besides family is Hertz Rental Cars. I just returned to Baltimore from a trip to Florida where I rented a car from them for a week and returned it on July 11th. Scumbags.

The return phone number they mentioned to get the tickets is 877-309-1115. I've blocked them.

I got a call from this number 702-444-4939 and a msg with a woman voice named Ann Marie from America West stating I had won 2 complementary round trips to a 3 nights 4 days caribean cruse and to redeem prize I was to call 888-408-1960 because I or my family member had filled out a entry form.

My calls is basically the same as the one before mine. They are speaking so fast in the beginning, it sounds crazy and then she starts with Hi this is "Dallas" from the promotional department of America West. Please be advised that the entry form you or family member filled out at one of our events last year WAS pulled. And you and your spouse have been selected to receive 2 comp. roundtrip airfare vouchers departing Providence International Airport, including 2 nights and 3 days of sun and fun deluxe hotel accommodations in the home of Disney World, Orlando Florida. Congratulations. Not a timeshare, no obligation to purchase anything. Now the toll free number to redeem your complimentary promotional package is toll free, 888-460-9020.

Certainly a scam. Do not call them back. America West is no longer in existence, they are now US Airways (they acquired them and kept the more popular US Airways name).

called saying they were America West and left an 877 number to call back ... called back and it was a recording of a promotion for free tickets, hotel, etc and wanted you to go to a presentation in Georgetown ( DC) to get the tickets, etc. to Vegas, Orlando... supposedly you can press 2 to opt out of more calls... this call came on my cell which I only give out to companies I actually do business with so... US AIRWAYS has done this!!!! I will never fly them again and I am removing all my info from them....

I received a phone call from this number which showed up on my called ID but only displayed the phone number 702-444-4939. My friend was calling me from a pay phone in PA with a calling card. It's either the calling card company or pay phone company that generates or re-routes every call from the main location of the phone number being Las Vegas, NV. I googled the phone number and read all types of comments from people that have received calls from the same phone number and the person was using a pay phone, calling card, etc. I hope this information is helpful to someone. Please pick up the phone call because it could be a loved one or a friend simply trying to contact you from a pay phone and using a calling card.

ignored call from this # only to get a msg from my daughter saying she was calling me from a pay phone half mile from home in glenview, Il. my guess is payphone company is outta vegas. however, this # could possibly come up on caller id if getting a call from any of this co.'s payphones--anywhere in the country.

Got a call from this number after 11pm on a Sat. night and it was some girl crying saying she can't go home like this. When I asked what was wrong she hung up. I happened to be sitting at the computer so figured I would put the number in to see if there was anything here about it and found this.
