Just received a call from this number telling me that they were from Chase Bank and they were checking on an online payment to the American Medical Group from my account. They wanted to know if I had authorized this payment,. I said no I did not. Then they wanted my account number so they could stop the payment.

I told him I would call Chase myself and he said that if I hung up the payment would go through. He did not want me to hang up but I did anyway and called Chase. They said it was a fraud call.

I called the number back and got no answer.,

Recieved a call, caller stated he was from American Medical Savings, avoiding repeated his name. He said they had recieved an application and check in my name but the check was not signed. He then asked if i had apllied with them to which i replied "no". He stated that they suspected it may be a fraud attempt and wanted to connect me to their "legal recording department" to ask "a series of questions" so that they could cancel the application and send it to their fraud team. I asked for all the information he had, he proceeded to give my name, address, checking account and routing numbers. I then told him i would contact my bank and file suit with them regarding this information. He was insistant that i go through their "legal recording" department, I told him i would handle it from my end and hung up. Have since had my account closed and reopened under all new numbers. Believe their "legal recording" is where they get the answers they can use to their advantage.

I have been receiving multiple calls from this phone number. They never leave a message, and I have tried to call back, but it goes directly to a voicemail system stating that the mailbox is full. I have no idea who this is. Anyone else receiving calls from this number?
