The recorded message advertised the opportunity to refinance my mortgage, giving a bogus account number as my mortgage account. The recorded message said I could avoid foreclosure. Please note: I paid off my mortgage in December 2006. When message asked if I would like to talk with a representative in, I hit the yes button on my phone. When a salesperson answered, I asked him "Where did you get that bogus account number for my supposed mortgage which I have already paid off in full?" He immediately hung up.
