Me: I pressed 1 hoping to find out who was calling.
Live person/male: "Hello. Did you press #1 to lower your interest rates?"
Me: "No. I pressed #1 to speak to an operator."

I have no clue who this caller was or who they represent except for the Caller-ID which indicates Las Vegas, NV; No business name appears in the Caller-ID.

credit card debt consolidation. they actually call my home number too (518-674-3889) and when you wait for a human and they inform them you are on the do not call list, they hang up on you.

Was claiming to be able to lower my credit card interest rate. Did not know what credit card I had (claimed they represented Visa and Mastercard). Did not know any account information. Did not appear to know my name.
