(702) 728-5174 Robo call recorded 1 February 2018 ("The Trump Administration may be changing the current Student Loan Forgiveness programs..." HA!) SCAM
Caller ID: "Las Vegas NV"
also calls from: (702) 979-3090 | (408) 758-9414 | (979) 234-0985 | (518) 935-1051 | (430) 703-0544 | (609) 900-1090 | (424) 644-6437 | (702) 997-4798
A misleading robo call that opens with an outright lie "...we're doing a quick follow up on the letter we sent you in the mail..." and a warning that the Trump Administration may eliminate student loan forgiveness programs and makes an offer to be connected to a live student loan specialist.
The call insults our intelligence on many levels, including their "shotgun" approach to making mass phone calls, hoping to find a few people who owe student loans, a lie that they sent a letter in the mail, and their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of this insulting, automated, intrusive and unwanted robo call:
[female voice:] "Hello again. We're doing a quick follow up on the letter we sent you in the mail. The Trump Administration may be changing the current Student Loan Forgiveness programs, so you must act now to qualify while you still can. Please press 1 to get connected to a live agent. Please press 2 to be put on our Do Not Call list.."
NOTE: Why would I have to press 2 to be put on their Do Not Call list when I'm already on the Government Do Not Call list?
