This number called me twice in Sept 2014
Thought I reported those 2 calls but I see I didn't.

We have excellent credit rating & no bills are past due & each & every bill is paid in full on time each month.

This is just a National Recovery Ass. scam outfit.

Everyone - Purchase a Call Blocker.

Good and cheap ones on Amazon. Don't get the Sentry. It talks real slowwwwwwww. Which makes it a pain when a caller you want is calling. It also will not disconnect after you pick up the phone, so you have to talk over the slow voice until it finishes. I am trying out two new ones right now. I can update the post when I know which one works best. It is between the "Block Now" call blocker by CPR and the "HQ TELECOM". I purchased the landline unit but they do sell an app for cell phones also.

This is the best investment I have EVER made. I was getting so many calls a day, it would fill up my answering machine. I have no idea how I got on their "shit list" because I do not owe anyone any money or have any outstanding debt, but I must have turned down one of their sell pitches for a product, and angered one of these weenies.

I turn all the ringers off at night and I have never been woken up again by one of these silent jerks. All they want is to harass you. They did it for months before I checked a blog and found out they were doing it to others. So many others. They have been bothering people in this same manner since 2002. Once you get on their "list", they WILL NEVER go away.

As soon as I get up, I turn my ringer back on, and check my phone to see if anyone called me. Now when the phone rings, I look at the number. If I do not recognize it, I just block that number.

It is easy to check numbers on the internet if you want to find out which company is calling, so you can see if you want to block it. Most of these numbers are pre-sold through brokers. They have thousands of numbers, and call from every state.

I have kept a log book (each page starts with a different area code. One page for the two's and so forth.)

After a while they will get bored with you not answering. That does not mean they will not try bothering you again in six months, but with the call blocker, only the numbers I want can call right through without getting the call blocker machine message.

Because the only satisfaction they get is when you answer the phone. DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. I have told all my friends and family to just leave a message. I will call them right back if I am home and was unable to check the number in time. Also when you come home, you can go through the list of numbers that called while you were at work and add them to your block list. (It is easy to unblock someone if you accidently added them to the bad list.)

The guys harassing you only get their jolly's if you pick up the phone. Don't give them the satisfaction.

There is no reward for them if you do not pick up. Then they cannot joke with their buddies about bothering you.

Now I laugh every time they call.

They call often, started last month. The Mrs and I are older now, we don't reach the phone in time to get to speak to the caller. I had someone look into this number and was told they are NOT associated whatsoever with The National Rifle Association, but rather the National Recovery Agency .... which is a collection agency. Well that's what we were told, but we're also told that they are a scam/fraud company that financially preys on elderly and innocent people. I would like to hear their pitch one time, just to verify what I was told.

It's now January 2014 and this number is at it again, claiming to be NRA, but no way is it National Rifle Association! We're lifetime members and they are not, and never were even before we joined, this pushy! Kept lowering amount that they wanted us to give.

No, this is some leftwing, gunrights hating criminals that are doing a two-fold act. They want our credit card numbers for theft, AND..........to make folks hate the NRA.

Just last week a Hollywood producer made news for saying that he's making a movie about the NRA that will make folks hate NRA and turn folks against the Second amendment, etc.

I can assure you and the rest of these commentors here that this "NRA" caller is NOT the National Rifle Association. It is indeed the NRA, but it's the National Recovery Agency. It's a collection agency for some, and a scam fraud agency for others. It usually takes me and the mrs a minute to get to the phone, unfortunately we never catch the call in time to speak with the callers ..... pitty. MOLON LABE

Call every day - it is THE National Rifle Association. You can call this number back, press 1 and let their nonsense talk for a second then hit 3 and you can submit your number for removal. It better work, its non stop! I cannot figure out how they got my name and number, I am a serious gun CONTROL advocate and never have supported the NRA. Its almost like between the unsolicited calls for donations, the calls for debts you do not owe, you cant get away from this crap anymore.

They call at least once a day, EVERY SINGLE DAY, for about the last six months. I don't know if this is the National Rifle Association or National Recovery Agency. They don't leave a message.
